I watch a lot of stand-up comedy shows. Good and bad ones. Some comedians are able to make you laugh right there and then, but others have the power to go beyond, they leave you thinking about something for a long time. It is the case of Mike Birbiglia.
In his latest show, The New One, which was performed in Broadway, Birbiglia takes the audience into the process of his “unwanted” parenthood, from totally not wanting to have a child to finally having one. It is a funny and very emotional show.
